Expedition provides standard seating for up to eight. There’s a 7-passenger configuration available with individual 2nd-row bucket seats. When more cargo space is needed, the 3rd-row bench seat can be folded down for a flat load floor. The 2nd-row split bench seats also fold flat to the floor for maximum cargo space.

Its dynamic front end creates a look that establishes the Expedition as the flagship of Ford SUVs. But styling isn’t all there is. Expedition comes standard with LED fog lamps, running boards, and luggage rack with side rails and adjustable crossbars. Add available enhancements like halogen projector-beam headlamps; power-deployable running boards; side mirrors with heat, signal, memory and security approach features; plus power moonroof.

Ford engineers made the 3.5L EcoBoost® the standard engine because they knew how important performance is in this full-size class of vehicle. Ride comfort, too. That’s why they gave Expedition an independent rear suspension. Expedition ride quality and control are enhanced even further with the available Continuously Controlled Damping System with 22-inch polished aluminum wheels.

Expedition is the first Ford model to offer the Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) System with specially designed and tuned 22-inch polished aluminum wheels. A suite of electronic sensors continuously monitors 46 unique suspension, steering, braking and body motions, processing data hundreds of times per second. The damping system responds in milliseconds to help keep you confidently in control. Choose from three settings – comfort, normal or sport – for the performance feel you prefer. CCD is standard on Expedition Platinum and optional on the Limited and King Ranch® models.

SYNC® 3 is our easy-to-use, responsive voice-activated technology. Discover the system’s quick reactions to your conversational voice commands. Experience the smartphone-like touchscreen with impressive responsiveness. You’ll also find a sleek user-friendly interface to help you connect to and control your smartphone. Locate your favorite restaurants with simple destination entry via the optional navigation. SYNC 3 is fast, smart and easy to use.

The available Forward and Reverse Sensing Systems use ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers to audibly alert you to certain objects when you’re moving forward or backing up at a slow speed. The closer you get, the quicker it beeps.
